MY LIFE

My name is Jordan Thomas. I was born May 14th 2004 which makes me 11 turning 12. I  was born in London. I went to Glenbrook primary school and I go to The London Nautical School currently in year 7. I like this school. I have a lot of friends that make me laugh everyday. I don’t enjoy lessons though. They’re so boring!except PE.

Holiday in Ibiza was good and adventures. I flew there on an aeroplane with my mum, sister and my cousin. We stayed in a hotel called ‘Senatori’ it was right in front of the beach. There was two bedrooms and two beds in the bedrooms. I shared with my cousin who is like 17. When I was there I  went on a jet ski which was awesome. It was powerful so we had to go in separate areas so we didn’t crash. We paid 50 euros for half an hour. This was my first holiday.

Saddest moment of my life is falling over and smashing my head on a concrete floor, which concluded to me having a lump on my eye  brow. I was playing football and some boy lift his leg up and I fell. I couldn’t breath for a few seconds I thought I was going to die! My mum put an ice pack on it. It took four weeks to heal properly.

The best moment is when my sister (liya) came into this world. This happened when I was six. I went with my mum to the hospital but had to sit outside. We were at the hospital for a long time. When we got home my sister had her own room to sleep in.

I had the best time in Chesington World of Adventures. I have been there many times. My favourite rides is the Monkey Swing and the Vampire ride. The reason why they are my favourite is because they are fast. When I go there I eat pancakes and doughnuts and pizza all day. I would like to go back as it is very fun.

My main goal is to go to school and learn and get good grades also trying to be a footballer. My inspiration is Serigo Aguero because of the way he hits the ball and the ability to win his team games. I would like to be able to play like him. I go to football training on a Wednesday and play for  Dulwich  Hamlet. The reason why I want to be a football player is because I would be able to show my attribute to the whole world. When I’m older I want to play for Man City. I would be upfront or on the wing.

The extract is about a father who lost his arm which people mistakenly pulled his arm unknowing that he had a problem with his shoulder not his arm. Roald Dahl is narrator of the extract Boy.

This is Your Online Domain

Hello and welcome to your personal online journal.

Edutronic has been created to enhance and enrich your learning at the London Nautical School. Its purpose is to provide you with an audience for your work (or work-in-progress) and you have the choice (by altering the ‘visibility’ of your posts) of whether your work on here is visible to the world, or only to your teacher.

Anything you post here in the public domain represents you and thus it’s important that you take care with that decision, but don’t be afraid to publish your work – as the feedback you may get from people at home, your peers and people from around the internet is only likely to enhance it.

Remember you can always access your class blog and all manner of resources through the Edutronic main website – and by all means check out the sites of your peers to see what they’re getting up to as well.

If you have any questions for your teacher, an excellent way to get an answer is to create a new private post on this journal. Your teachers are am notified of any new posts and will reply swiftly to any queries.

Make the most of, and enjoy this new freedom in your English learning!
